Paznaun is internationally known for its ski hot spots Ischgl, Kappl, Galtür and See. It extends 40 kilometers southwest to the Bieler Höhe with the Silvretta reservoir on the Vorarlberg side. The narrow high valley is surrounded by the three-thousand-meter peaks of the Samnaun Group and the Silvretta to the south and by the peaks of the Verwall Group to the north. In winter, you can see what Paznaun is known for all over Europe. In the skiing hot spot Ischgl with the skiing area Silvretta Arena, which reaches into Swiss territory, and the numerous après-ski bars, the great winter sports fun is on. The fact that the snow guarantee in Paznaun is particularly high benefits all four ski resorts Kappl, Ischgl, Galtür and See.
